Oh you know, just gettin down with Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein… tho I will say Portlandia is dumb for not wanting to pay me a lil extra to get me back after shooting to record my voice. I woulda done it for free! I mean, what was the point of my singing audition if I never got to actually sing? The voice they gave me is totally ratchet. Oh well, was still an awesome experience!

My friend Logan had an accident at his work one night when a towel got caught in the deli slicer, causing him to slice off a big chunk of his index finger in the struggle to get it out. I generally make body jewelry with resin, insects and glitter. With Logan knowing this, he got ahold of me to see if I could make something pretty for him to carry his finger with him forever and always, almost as if he never lost it at all! Here is the outcome! I’m super stoked on it, but really wishing the red sparkles behind the finger could be picked up better through photos…it’s kind of something you just have to see in person!
